Scottish Inns & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey North

Let's be objective: first of all, the price fits to the quality, which is the most important thing to understand. Secondly, if we compare the Scottish inn North and the Scottish inn South, we will see a big difference. And North is much better in my opinion. Thirdly, you need to understand that the hotel building is not new and it is located in a mountainous area called Manada hill, right. Therefore, you should not expect that the parking lot will be flat. Which is logical. Fourth - people of different nationalities and races stay here because of the price, and all these people have different cultural and social characteristics, different mentalities, worldviews, understanding and opinion about respect. Fifth, the people who work here do what they can based on what they have (old hotel in a mountainous area) and you can always say about your problem at the front desk. And in the end, I will note that I am a white European and I have stayed in this hotel several times single.

Rooms need some updating, new floors would be good. Breakfast was just ok, pancake machine is cool when it works. My King size bed was comfy, shower had pressure and of course was hot. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

The employees are super friendly, it’s affordable and there’s a really good restaurant to walk to. The rooms could use some updating but if you are there just to sleep it does the job. Oh and free breakfast is a nice perk and they also gave us a goodie bag of snacks when we arrived! Would definitely stay again!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room. Looking at the cost per night I didn't expect much, but I was truly surprised. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was clean with nice laminate floors, they even give you a snack bag at checkin. The free breakfast wasn't bad. I plan on using this hotel a few times a year when traveling in the area. Best bang for your buck !

Perfect distance to Hersheypark. Stayed for one night for a concert. Hotel is still being renovated. Rooms are very spacious! Beds are super comfortable, sheets and blankets were very clean. The rest of the room was mostly clean, you can tell the bathroom still needs renovated and could use a deep cleaning. No gross carpet- there are clean hardwood floors; however, seems like this made everything louder, especially at night. Lots of noise from above us (1st floor) and in the hallway. When we checked in our TV did not work. The maintenance man and manager were soooo nice and helpful. They brought us a brand new TV and hooked it up immediately. Definitely would return. Excellent value for the price.

I had an amazing time at the Scottish in and suits! The staff and the manager was very pleasant and nice. Everything was great staying and I will definitely be back soon for another visit trip and will choose to Stay again at this property! Very nice and Pleasant people the beds were very comfortable, The rooms were very clean, Smelled really good in there and the heat worked very well! The manager even had told me about the diner that’s right down the street and gave me Ideas on what to order! Very good place and very yummy diner! Great place! My bestfriend and I stayed one night and could not have been more satisfied and taken care of! We felt so attended to and enjoyed our conversations with the general manager! I cannot stress enough how helpful and friendly he was! We were recommend the diner around the corner which was super helpful! They have brand new beds which we were happy on, there was even a quiet time around 8pm which everyone adhered to making our sleep more peaceful! I learned they just came under new ownership about a year ago which was interesting to hear, I believe they are really putting in the time, effort and energy to run the place right and their friendliness goes a long way! The room was clean, tidy and we had everything we needed! We had plenty of towels which I enjoyed! The location was perfect for us with the sheetz across the street, and the diner around the corner, we had to come back late from a concert which helped when we came back at night and the diner for the afternoon after checkout. I believe the managers name was Manny, and he is a rockstar! I recommend this place to anyone who is like me and doesn’t want to pay insane prices for one night at a hotel, overall I would come back again, especially for the fun and friendly conversations with Manny! Bonus point for the little goody bag we got! It really helped after being on the road for hours and really made us feel special and appreciated! It was nice to see a staff of real and down to earth people! I appreciate everyones hard work and I hope that you continue being really nice!

Great and cheap place to stay with nice rooms! Room was clean and comfy, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the walls were super thin so you heard everyone and everything all the time, but honestly, a lot of hotels are like that. Check in and check out was super easily, same as the booking process through Priceline. Location is in a bit of an awkward area, but it’s honestly not that bad. I would absolutely stay here again
